Taiwan’s largest yachting leisure leader ARGO Yacht Club
Since the opening of the sea ban policy, Taiwan’s yachting leisure has gradually emerged, and a complete industry development must have a full range of hardware and software. ARGO Yacht Club, the largest yachting leisure leader in Taiwan, is now working on a well-known “secret” in Tainan, the Tainan Anping Yacht City.
Tainan Anping Yacht City, covering a total of 12 hectares of land and water, is composed of a members-only yacht club, a marine academy, a restaurant with ocean views, a resort by Singapore’s famous hotel group, Banyan Tree Group, and berth properties. It will become the first and the largest yacht living town in Taiwan, among which the construction of Anping ARGO pier has made many boat owners and people who enjoy boats look forward to it.
The ARGO Yacht Pier is located in Anping, the first city in Taiwan and the ancient capital full of humanities. The continuous coastline along the southwestern coast has been rated by the Port Authority as the most suitable place to build a yacht pier: Anping ARGO Yacht Pier is nestled next to Yuguang Island, which is a small island that serves as a natural wave barrier and provides excellent safety for the pier, forming the most stable yacht pier in Taiwan.
Construction of Anping ARGO Yacht City started in March 2018, and the first phase of 62 berths (including 33 40-foot berths, 11 50-foot berths, 17 60-foot berths, and 1 150-foot berth) has been completed in the pier area. 200 berths will be completed in the future, and the pier will gradually become the largest and best yacht pier in Taiwan.
International Professional Yacht pier
This first large international professional pier in Taiwan has three firsts:
- It is a green yacht pier: 95% of the pier materials are recyclable
- Both American and European power supply systems are available
- Yacht pier with storage space, fire and emergency facilities, and surveillance system
The land area near the berth has an exclusive clubhouse for ARGO Yacht Club members and a restaurant with sea view, adding to the diversity of yachting life in this area. In addition to the tranquil island scenery, the location is close to the downtown area of Tainan, providing convenience for living and having fun at the same time.
ARGO Yacht Club and Singapore’s Banyan Tree Group plan to make this area the largest yacht town in Taiwan, with the aim to become Asia’s Miami.
